Sarah Ikumu finally got her lucky break! And showed the world what she could do with an Epic Performance!
She is a very sweet, humble 15 year old and the daughter of Kenyan immigrants. Living in Great Britain, Sarah was able to get on the Britain(s) Got Talent Stage and show the world what she could do.
From her very humble beginnings (she sang in their church choir) you would never suspect how incredible her voice and stage presence are.
Initially, as you will see in her stunning performance, Simon Cowell and many in the crowd were extremely nervous when she confidently announced that she would be singing the Jennifer Hudson masterpiece: “You(re) Gonna Love Me”. You will see many audience members nervously twitch after the announcement.
Then, it happened. Sarah began belting out the Jennifer Hudson song and the audience was stunned. Mouths aghast at how this sweet 15 year old could sing so brilliantly and carry such an incredible stage presence. Like many of the great singers, Sarah beautifully improvised on the song and made it her own. Her parents lovingly looked on and were obviously so proud of their daughter.
Needless to say, Simon Cowell immediately punched the Golden Button (picking his jaw off of the floor and giving Sarah a rousing standing ovation).
Sarah was that good.
