You have to watch this to believe it. A 12 year old girl stuns Simon Cowell and the rest of the “America’s Got Talent” audience with an epic singing performance.
And, no, it wasn’t her singing. But, rather, her doll via an incredible display of ventriloquism.
As you’ll see on the video, Darci Lynne seems as poised as a twenty year stage performance veteran. It’s hard to believe that she’s only 12 years old.
It’s clear from the beginning that the judges (and everyone else) are pulling for her to succeed. However, Simon Cowell’s expression shows a ton of skepticism that she’ll be able to pull it off. Especially, as Darci admits later, that she’s an extremely shy person.
Well, what Darci does is flat out sensational.
Her voice is impeccable and you can’t even see Darci’s lips move via her ventriloquist act. It’s hard to believe that so much power and sound can come out with so little lip and mouth movement.
As you’d expect (and will see), Darci received a thunderous ovation and received a coveted Golden Buzzer from Mel B.
