Campbell’s not your normal 12 year old. He’s one of nine siblings and would rather stay inside creating a little magic for sick children instead of going outside to play (hard to believe that a 12 year old can be this focused and kind).
As you’ll see on this inspiring video, it started out as a just an idea to create teddy bears for sick children. So, he patiently taught himself how to sew using his mother’s sewing kit.
Initially, it took him hours and hours to figure out how to make one teddy bear. From downloading and understanding the teddy bear design and picking out the right fabric to carefully sewing everything together it was a very long, tedious process.
From that humble starting point (at age nine), he’s made hundreds and hundreds of teddy bears for sick children as a way of providing hope and a distraction for all of their treatments.
Campbell’s kindness even provided a ray of sunshine for his father when he got diagnosed with cancer. As his father puts it, “Campbell’s got a little magic!” He sure does!!!
