Connecting La Paz and Corioco, this 35 mile stretch of road converses through Bolivia’s dense jungle, massive hills, and sharp turns.  As a narrow, one-lane road, drivers have to hug the inside edge to avoid falling off of the edge (since it doesn’t have any guardrails) and avoid falling debris and mudslides from the constant rain.  This dangerous road claims more than 300 lives per year.
