Rescuers at the California Wildlife Center (CWC) needed to come up with something creative to help a wounded Mockingbird with disabled feet. They’re not sure how or why the bird got knuckled feet but knew that they had to do something to help.
What they came up with is INGENIOUS & so, so cute.
They created tiny “snowshoes” for the mockingbird. The snowshoes kept the bird’s feet in the proper alignment so that they could heal properly and quickly.
