Overpacking, we’ve all done it. If you’ve ever experienced the humiliation of airplane traveling and having to move and rearrange your suitcase at the airline check-in counter then this video is for you.
What this short video shows is a clever packing trick to roll an entire outfit into a pair of socks. Obviously, doing this would free up a tremendous amount of space and keep your bag under the airline weight limit (and keep your outfits organized and wrinkle free).
As you’ll see, the first step is to layout your outfit on top of each other with widest longest item on the bottom (usually that’s your shirt). After this, you’ll want to fold the widest items so that everything is uniform and easy to roll into a tight bun. Then, place your socks horizontally side-by-side at the top of outfit with the open ends sticking out.
Next, slowly roll up your outfit into a tight bun (and remember to keep your socks hanging enough on the outside for the final step). After this step, roll your socks down and place your rolled outfit inside.
Voila!!! You have now condensed your outfit into an easy-to-pack item just with a pair of socks.
Hope this little trick helps you on your next travel excursion.
