Puppies can be hard to corral sometimes, especially when they’re outside or in a deep hole. Now imagine trying to rescue nine puppies that decided to go deep into an incredibly small earth embankment. That’s exactly what happened on this incredible rescue by members of Hope for Paws.
Hope for Paws is a great philanthropic organization that rescues and places stray and needy dogs from the streets. Their efforts in this video are truly above and beyond what most people would think is their duty.
In the video, they stumble upon a litter of puppies sitting on the edge of an earth mound in front of a small cave-like entrance hole. As they capture a couple of the puppies on the fringe of the hole the remaining litter mates decide to go deeper inside the small cavern for protection from the humans.
The rescuers then have to dig out dirt so that they can squeeze into the hole and find the puppies. As you’ll see, it’s a tough go as the puppies back themselves into a corner.
Eventually, the rescuers capture the remaining puppies (even after traversing deeper into the tunnel to find several puppies who got spooked again).
It’s a heartwarming video and so sweet to listen to the puppies cry in fear as they’re rescued only to be calmed by the soft rubs of their rescuers.
