Good fences make good neighbors right? Well, what about cinder blocks.
Oliver Lynch, a 79 yr old Florida man, came home to find a huge surprise on his driveway. Apparently, his neighbor placed a line of cinder blocks down the middle of his driveway. And, to make matters worse, the neighbor had them cemented down so that they could not be moved. Talk about a good neighbor.
The new neighbor, building a house on an adjacent lot, claimed that half of the driveway was on his property. According to Mr. Lynch this happened without warning.
“I have a little fight (still) left in me & I just hate to bullied and bulldozed over.” Mr. Lynch conveyed to the news reporter.
Florida building laws permit two 12 foot wide driveways to be side-by-side if the homeowner(s) choose(s). However, Mr. Lynch said that he has spoken with his neighbor a couple of times and he will not budge.
Sadly, unless this gets resolved, Mr. Lynch will have to hire a real estate attorney and implement legal action.
Amazingly, according the reported story from Lynch, the neighbor was a minister of some-sort and his actions were certainly not Christian-Like.
How would you like your neighbor if he did this to you?
