Known for building high-quality cars, Ford has decided to create something truly revolutionary: A Smart Crib that Ford calls Max Motor Dreams. Designed to put babies to sleep fast, it will be a huge relief for many parents (like me) that have had to drive around the block for 20 minutes just to put our baby to sleep.
The crib, more like a small cot, simulates driving in a car for the baby. Complete with driving sounds, LED Lighting (to simulated yellow-hued street lights), and a smart rocking motion (from small motors under the crib), the baby will think and feel like it’s riding in your car.
What’s even more impressive is that Ford has intertwined the crib with a Smartphone App that lets you record the actual sounds from your car. This makes it even better for the baby as the cribs motions and sounds will be personalized.
As of now, it’s just a prototype. So you won’t be able to purchase this yet. However, it’s a great idea and sure to help ease the mind of parents trying to get their little babies asleep.
